Operated by Columbia County, Rum Island Springs is located along the Santa Fe River and offers a beautiful view of crystal-clear spring water meeting the tannic waters of the river. The spring’s name come illicit moonshine stills hidden in the area in the early 1900s. A relatively unmanaged spring, the park is an opportunity for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing.
